His externships included optometry practices in Indianapolis and Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas and an ophthalmology practice in Salt Lake City, Utah. Johnson graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1998. Matthew Johnson grew up in Hebron, Nebraska and graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska Kearney where he was a member of the men’s basketball team and student athlete advisory committee.ĭr. He resides in South Lincoln with his wife Jennifer and two children.ĭr. Geisert has been providing comprehensive eye care with the ProEye Group and is committed to giving his patients the level of care and understanding they deserve. Geisert also works closely with Matt Talbot Kitchen, local Lion’s Clubs as well as women’s shelters, providing free or discounted exams and glasses to those that need a helping hand. Geisert has had the opportunity to visit places like Thailand, India, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica and give free eye care and glasses to thousands of people who are in need. Geisert has been very involved in providing eye care for those less fortunate both locally and internationally. Geisert also has extensive experience in fitting of all types of contact lenses.Īdditionally, Dr. He is certified to treat and manage ocular disease as well as co-manage lasik and cataract patients. He was awarded membership into Beta Sigma Kappa, an International Optometric Honorary for academic excellence. After attending the University of Nebraska and receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1982, he then went on to Ohio State University College of Optometry where he graduated with honors in 1986. Jeff Geisert is a Nebraska native and grew up in Ogallala.
